2012 Egg CSA

We began planning for 2012 many months ago.  Each week we ran out of eggs at the Farmer's Market we were frustrated and so were you!  So, we kept 200 hens over the winter, and started 225 baby chicks, that will start laying in May.  These are 50 Barred Rocks (my favorite chicken!), 50 Buff Orpingtons, 25 Easter Egger (these lay blue and green eggs) and 100 Production Reds (these lay lots of eggs).

 

 

Would you like to be guaranteed that you will receive eggs every week at the Market or on the farm?  Then this CSA is for you! 

 

Egg CSA:   Each "Share" runs for 26 weeks     May through October. 

This would be for 1 dozen of eggs each week. (You may order more than 1 dz)

 

Payment before March 1, 2012 = $117   ($4.50/dz)

After March 1, 2011                 = $130   ($5.00/dz)

                                              

Half Shares are available for 1/2 the price listed (2 dozen/month)

Payments must be postmarked 3-1-12!

 

 If you come to the FARM  Eggs are $4.00 x 26 wks =$104

 

 

 

Pick up Days and Times

We will have egg pick up these Markets:

 

Woodstock Farmer's Market: Tuesdays and Saturdays 

 

Cary Farmer's Market Sundays 

 

Eggs must be picked up by 11 am at the Market.

 

There are no refunds on eggs that are not picked up.

If you go on vacation, have a neighbor pick up your eggs.
