2011 Turkeys for 4-H will come in March and Bourbons will come in April and Broad Breasted Whites come in June.
Bourbon Red Turkeys are a heritage breed. They are a beautiful bird and their taste is truly wonderful. They are rated #1 in taste on several different websites. Because they are a heritage breed and slow growing it takes 26-28 weeks to raise them.
Our baby bourbons (poults) will arrive the last week in March. Will then spend 7 weeks in the brooder before they go outside in our hoop houses. They are great foragers and love to eat grass!
Our Bourbons will be between 7 and 14 lbs for Thanksgiving.
Please order early because of our limited supply of bourbons
